Aer Lingus
Introduction
As promised here’s some more information to supplement the training as we as the information on your intranet site. I hope you find it a useful reminder. John
Johari Window
We used the Johari window to start to cover all the things we had to take into consideration for our conversation. Here’s a video I created to explain to another client how it’s structured & what use it has practically when structing a conversation.
More information can be found here on Johari. I recommend ignoring it and keeping things as simple as you can.
GROW
So once you have a good idea of what you want to cover in the conversation using Johari you can start to put some structure on things using GROW.
If you want further information on the GROW model I'd highly recommend Sir John Whitmores book "Coaching for Performance"
Structuring Feedback
On the day we talked about strutting you're feedback. In the video I talk about the AID model which stands for ‘Action, Impact, Desired Way Forward’ Exactly the same structure as the EEC model used in Aer Lingus.
I first came up this model when I came across Max Landsberg's book "The Tia of Coaching" a very short and simple read but with some really powerful coaching tools.
